The company says that they have created or support over 1 million jobs in the U.S., with 66,000 employees working directly for Apple in the United States. About 334,000 jobs come from other companies as a result of Apple's spending and growth, with 627,000 coming from the iOS ecosystem of apps and accessories. From Apple:

Apple ignited the app revolution with the launch of the App Store in 2008. Since then, an entire industry has been built around app design and development. In just six years, the iOS ecosystem has helped create over 627,000 jobs, and U.S.-based developers have earned more than $8 billion from App Store sales worldwide.

Apple also talks up their Supplier Diversity program, which sees the company use suppliers that encourage diversity in the workplace. Also mentioned were Apple's upcoming Campus 2, as well as the U.S.-based customer support.

Source: Apple
