Apple TV owners in Canada, Europe, and Australia get new channels of their own

This includes programs from American channels like HBO and Showtime, with Homeland, The Wire, and more now available through CraveTV. Shows are now also available in 1080p.</p> <p>The Shomi video-on-demand service is also available on the Apple TV. Currently in a limited beta, Shomi is only available to Rogers or Shaw cable subscribers for $8.99 per month. Shomi on the Apple TV gives customers access to movies and shows like Outlander, iZombie, and Transparent.</p> <p>In French and German-speaking countries in Europe, Apple TV owners can now access ARTE. A free service that requires no authentication to use, ARTE focuses on culture and the arts. It is available to Apple TV users in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, and Switzerland.</p> <p>Children entertainment network Hopster is now available to users in the U.K. For £3.99 per month, you can access program like Paddington Bear, Bob the Builder, and Angelina Ballerina right on your Apple TV.</p> <p>Finally, Australian Apple TV owners can now watch FOX Sports on their device. FOX Sports lets gives you access to on-demand sports content for baseball, American football, basketball, and more. The service costs $4.99 per month, and users can subscribe directly on their Apple TV through iTunes.</p> <p>These channels should be for Apple TV owners in their respective countries right now.</p> </div></div></div><img width='1' height='1' src='' border='0'/><br clear='all'/>
