Three of Apple and IBM's MobileFirst apps gain Apple Watch support

Some of the enterprise apps created by Apple and IBM have been updated with Apple Watch support.

Apple has added support for the Apple Watch to three of the apps that it has created for the enterprise with IBM. The apps are Hospital RN, Field Connect, and Incident Aware.

Users of each of these apps can now receive important alerts from them and perform quick checks right from their Apple Watches. Hospital RN, introduced last month, allows nurses to manage their patient schedules and access records. Field Connect gives field technicians up-to-the-minute data on downed power lines and telephone poles. Incident Aware keeps police and other public safety officials in the know about situations as they unfold.

As Apple and IBM's partnership progresses, expect to see more of their applications receive Apple Watch support. Since their deal was announced last year, Apple and IBM have achieved a lot together, bringing several MobileFirst applications to the enterprise, and even expanding their program to Japan.

Source: Apple
