Beats Music accounts will stop working with Sonos after Apple Music migration

[/url]

Sonos is sending out emails to users who have registered a Beats Music to inform them of changes coming with the arrival of Apple Music. With an imminent update to Beats Music allowing you to migrate over to Apple's new service, those that choose to switch will find that their Beats account will no longer work with the system.

From the email:

Apple Music will be launching on June 30th. If you upgrade to iOS 8.4, iTunes 12.2, or the latest update of Beats Music, you will be prompted to join Apple Music and get 3 free months when you start your membership.

Apple Music will not be available on Sonos when it launches. However, we're already working together to make Apple Music available on Sonos before the end of the year.

If you decide to start the trial, your original Beats Music account will be cancelled and will no longer work on Sonos.

It was previously announced that Sonos and Apple were working together on Apple Music compatibility. For those looking to make the switch from Beats to Apple Music when it launches on Tuesday, June 30, you can check out our Beats Music's FAQ.
