Mac owners can now play all those Android apps with the BlueStacks player

<div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even" property="content:encoded"><div class="video"><div class="video_iframe"><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/tONkco6u3p4?rel=0&amp;autoplay=0&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;controls=2&amp;autohide=1&amp;showinfo=0" width="627" height="353" class="video-filter video-youtube vf-tonkco6u3p4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></div></div> <!--/video--> <p>Mac owners who have been jealous of all those apps and games being released on Android can now join the party. BlueStacks has now officially released its Mac version of its Android App Player, which was previously released for Windows (BlueStacks did briefly release an alpha version of its Mac app in 2012).</p> <!--break--> <p>BlueStacks claims it already has 90 million downloads for its software, and that number will certainly go up with the freshly-launched Mac version. It supports MacBooks with Retina displays and trackpads. Android apps that are available for both ARM-based and Intel-based processors are supported in the BlueStacks player, as are those made specifically for Android TV.</p> <p>Source: BlueStacks</p> </div></div></div><br clear='all'/>
