Apple says 3D Touch on iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will work with screen guards

[/url]

Apple is introducing the new 3D Touch features on the upcoming iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. But what if you want to have a screen guard for those phones? Will 3D Touch work with that add-on? Phil Schiller, Apple's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, says the answer is apparently, "Yes".

3D Techtronics sent an email to Schiller asking if 3D Touch will work with "regular screen guard & tempered glass screen protectors". Schiller's response was, "Yes, screen overlays that follow our guidelines will continue to work with 3D Touch." Of course, that answer does leave a slight out for Apple, as it's possible that users could buy a screen guard that doesn't work with 3D Touch under Apple's guidelines.

Where to buy an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus in the U.S.

Where to buy an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus in Canada

Source: 3D Techtronics
