Here's how to check and see if your favorite apps have complications available—and how to set them up.

How to find third-party apps with complications

If you're looking for someplace to start on your watchOS 2 app collection, Apple's App Store editors have collected a bunch of apps together that work well with watchOS 2; several have some great complication options.

We've also compiled a list of our favorite complication-replete apps, including ETA, iTranslate, Carrot Weather, and Dark Sky.

How to add and remove complication options from the Customize screen

First things first: Make sure the complication is active on your Apple Watch.

Go to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and tap My Watch.

Tap Complications.

By default, any third-party complications should be automatically added here, but you can use the minus button here to remove these options from your Apple Watch's customize screen. This won't delete the app outright, but it does take options away from your complication scrolling.

How to add complications to your Apple Watch

Open the Clock app on your Apple Watch.

Press firmly on the display to enter clock face edit mode.

Choose your face, then tap Customize.

Tap the complication and scroll through the options until you find the one you want. (Complications are organized alphabetically, so it should be fairly easy to spot the ones you want to add to your watch.)

Any questions?

Just let us know.
