Former Boeing CFO James Bell becomes newest member of Apple's Board of Directors

Bell spent 38 years at Boeing, with Apple CEO and board member Tim Cook praising his experience in finance and strategic planning.</p> <!--break--> <p>Bell is also a member of the boards for JP Morgan Chase, Dow Chemical Company, CDW, and is a Trustee of Chicago's Rush University Medical Center. He joins the seven other members of Apple's board, who are currently lead by Art Levinson as chairman, and include such figures as Disney CEO Bob Iger and former Vice President of the United States Al Gore.</p> <p>Press release:</p> <div class="pressrelease"> <h2>James Bell Joins Apple's Board of Directors</h2> <p>CUPERTINO, California — October 1, 2015 — Apple® today announced that James A. Bell, former chief financial officer and corporate president of The Boeing Company, has been elected to Apple's board of directors.
