iPhone 6s and
iPhone 6s Plus went up for pre-order in South Korea on Monday, and both phones are already proving popular with consumers. Both devices sold out with the first few minutes of availability, on South Korea's three mobile carriers, SK Telecom Co., KT Corp. and LG Uplus Inc.</p> <!--break--> <p>KT saw 50,000 pre-orders within the first 10 minutes of availability, according to the
Yonhap News Agency:</p>
<p>KT said preorders surpassed 10,000 within the first one minute after it opened the online site, and it closed the applications less than 10 minutes later as the first 50,000 units set aside for preorders were all sold out.</p>
<p>SK Telecom is also thought to have seen around 50,000 pre-orders, closing its order applications within 30 minutes. LG Uplus reportedly saw similar numbers, and closed its pre-orders after five minutes.</p> <p>Pre-orders were initially scheduled for last week, but were delayed on the advice of telecom regulators. The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will officially go on sale in South Korea on Friday, October 23.</p> <p>Source:
