Top Charts section now live in the Apple TV App Store

[/url]

Just a few days after the new Apple TV started arriving in the hands of eager buyers, the Top Charts section on the tvOS App Store has gone live. If you head to the App Store on your Apple TV now, you can check out all of the top paid apps, top free apps, top grossing, and more.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the top paid apps seem to be dominated by games right now, with Beat Sports, Galaxy on Fire, Does Not Commute, and Lumina City appearing at the front of the pack. Similarly not unexpected, the top free apps are headed up by video streaming apps like HBO Now and Showtime.

It'll definitely be interesting to see how the titles featured in each category shift around as users keep exploring content on their new Apple TV before things level out. If you'd like to check out the Top Charts, you should be able to pull it up on the tvOS App Store right now — at least in the US. Our attempts at checking for the section in Canada weren't fruitful, so it's likely the section isn't populated in all international markets at the moment.
