Apple cuts price of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in India by up to 16%Apple has cut the price of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in India by as much as 16% at some retailers, apparently responding to weaker sales during the important first quarter of the 2016 fiscal year. While it was introduced with a price of ₹62,000 (US$935), the 16GB model of the iPhone 6s is now going for between ₹52,000 (US$784) and ₹55,000 (US$830), at least according to four large retailers. There have also been price cuts made to the 64GB and 128GB models. One of the country's largest online retailers is now selling all models of the 6s and 6s Plus for the following prices, according to Times of India: iPhone 6S (16GB): ₹48,499 iPhone 6S (64GB): ₹62,849 iPhone 6S (128GB): ₹74,940 iPhone 6S Plus (16GB): ₹61,999 iPhone 6S Plus (64GB): ₹75,499 iPhone 6S Plus (128GB): ₹85,999 Sales of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus fell following a high sales period during Diwali in mid-November.
