'Steve Jobs: The Man In the Machine' documentary to be shown on CNN on Jan. 3After its release earlier this year in theaters, on iTunes and on-demand, the controversial documentary Steve Jobs: The Man In the Machine will be shown on CNN on Sunday, Jan. 3 at 9 p.m. ET in its official television premiere. As the title indicates, it takes a look at the life of Apple's late co-founder. The movie was directed by well-known documentarian Alex Gibney and portrays both Jobs and Apple itself in somewhat unflattering terms at times The movie was criticized earlier this year by Apple executive Eddy Cue, who stated he felt it was, "...an inaccurate and mean-spirited view of my friend. It's not a reflection of the Steve I knew."
