Actress Kate Winslet won for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture at the 2016 Golden Globe awards for her performance as Apple's former marketing head Joanna Hoffman. Aaron Sorkin also won for Best Screenplay - Motion Picture for his script of the controversial film. Michael Fassbender, who played the title role in Steve Jobs was nominated for Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama, at this year's Golden Globes, but he lost to Leonardo DiCaprio for his performance in The Revenant. The film's musical score by Daniel Pemberton was also nominated, but it lost out to Ennio Morricone's work in The Hateful Eight.
