Swift benchmark suite goes open source

Apple has announced that the Swift benchmark suite is now open source. The move comes shortly after Apple open sourced the Swift programming language itself in December. In all, the suite contains a set of tools for developers to test their Swift code and catch performance issues and bugs, including the following: 75 benchmarks covering a number of important Swift workloads Libraries providing commonly needed benchmarking functions A driver for running benchmarks and displaying performance metrics A utility for comparing benchmark metrics across Swift versions If you're an interested developer, you can read more about where Apple plans to take the Swift benchmark suite now that it is open source at the source link below. Developers can also find the source code for the benchmark suite on GitHub now. Source: Apple ...<br clear='all'/>
