Apple manufacturing partners reportedly start hiring for iPhone 7 assembly

Apple's manufacturing partners have started their hiring processes for large groups of workers, reportedly to begin work on the iPhone 7. Both Foxconn and Pegatron seem to have begun hiring for the new iPhone a month earlier than usual. This is said to be due to the complexity of the next iPhone's design.





The report originated with Taiwan's Economic Daily News, coming to us by way of CNBC:


  The Economic Daily News reported that the design of the iPhone 7 was more complex than previous models, which meant that suppliers needed to start work on the new phone's parts earlier than on previous iterations, which assembling staff needed more training than previous.


That's an interesting note, as previous reports claimed that the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus would closely resemble iPhone 6 and 6s lines. Of course, they still might, and a more complex design could indicate a new layout for the internal components. We won't know for sure until Apple announces the iPhone 7, which is still expect...
