Tweetbot for Mac adds support for Topics for easier 'tweetstorms'

Tweetbot for Mac has added support for Topics with its update to version 2.4. Originally launching two weeks ago on Tweetbot for iPhone and iPad, Topics allow you to easily chain together a series of tweets without needing to reply to yourself.





To create new Topics or access existing ones, open the compose window and click on the the gear icon in the bottom left. Click Topics, and you can create a topic, or select an existing one to put your next tweet under it. Topics can sync over iCloud, letting you utilize them across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Tweetbot for Mac 2.4 also features the following changes, improvements, and fixes:


  Collections Support
  Improved Quote Preview in Compose Window
  Removed play/pause button from video playback. Clicking on the video will toggle play/pause.
  Fixed an issue where incoming DM's would play a sound even when notification center was set to 'Do not Disturb'.
  If you mute someone you don't follow, it now automatically mutes searches, menti...
