Apple uses its homepage to celebrate the life of Muhammad Ali

"I am the greatest. I said that even before I knew I was. I figured that if I said it enough, I would convince the world that I was really the greatest."

Apple has paid tribute to the late Muhammad Ali, who passed away on June 3. The legendary boxer and civil rights activist spent his final hours with family at a Phoenix hospital after enduring decades of struggle against Parkinson's disease. The company has a background image of the greatest fighter the world has seen, alongside a quote "The man who has no imagination has no wings".

Apple has long respected the legendary voice of Muhammad Ali. Tim Cook also shared a special mention on social media on the day of Ali's passing:

"He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life." Rest in peace #MuhammadAli— Tim Cook (@tim_cook) June 4, 2016

Be sure to head to Apple's website to see the tribute page.
