Report: Apple planning iPhone model for Japan with support for FeliCa mobile payment standard

<p>According to a new report from Bloomberg, Apple is planning a new iPhone model for Japan that includes support for a technology called FeliCa. FeliCa, for those unfamiliar, is a tap-to-pay standard in Japan that allows users to pay for things like mass-transit rides with their mobile device.</p>
