How to update from an iOS beta to the official release

So, you've been running a beta version of iOS and now you want the real deal? Here's how to get back on the right track!

If you have been running a developer or public beta of iOS, you can officially move to the public release at any point once it's available. Apple may push the update to your device automatically, but you can manually download it if you prefer.

Before you start

I've mentioned this a lot, but can't stress it enough: Back up your iPhone before doing anything. A few extra minutes to secure your important data is worth the wait; you will regret losing your data if something goes wrong and you don't have a backup.

Go to Settings > General > Profiles.
Select the Beta profile.
Remove the beta profile by pressing Delete Profile.
