Update: The Pokémon Go Halloween event ENDS TODAY! Probably at 4pm PT, 7pm ET. So, make sure you transfer any unwanted/needed Pokémon before then so you can get your 2x candy (keep as many as you need to evolve, though!), and walk off any remaining eggs you have, also for 2x candy. Pokémon Go is having its first mega-event, and it's themed for Halloween. Starting October 26 and running through November 1, catchers will be in for a few tricks but mostly a lot of treats. Here's the breakdown!
Basically, its going to be candypalooza all week!
Every Pokémon you catch will award six candies. That's twice the normal 3 candies per catch.
Every Pokémon you trade into the Professor will give you two candies. That's also twice the normal 1 candy per trade. (It also means if you trade in your catches, you'll get a total of 8 candies!)
