August adds free 24 hour cloud video storage to its smart home video doorbells<div class="feat-image">
</div><p>Perhaps fearing competition from Amazon’s acquisition of Ring last month, August today announced they are adding free cloud storage for customers of
August Doorbell Cam and
August Doorbell Cam Pro.</p>
<p>With the new ‘Basic August Video Recording’ subscription, the doorbells will save the last 24 hours of video to August’s servers, with access to view it through the August app. Premium paid plans offer larger storage quotas.</p>
