Pokémon Go is intended to get you out and about, both on your own and with family and friends. One of the ways Pokémon Go tries to bolster activity is with events. Some of the events get splashy announcements and coincide with big public holidays. Others are quieter and more regular. Here's what's happened already and what's coming up next.
Upcoming Pokémon Go Events: Community Day on May 17, 2018, will feature... Charmander!
Pokémon Go's next Community Day, according to information posted on the Japanese website, is scheduled for May 17, 2018. The featured Pokémon will be Gen 1's Fire-starter: Charmander! There'll be 3-hour Lures, as usual, and the bonus will be 3x stardust on catches. No word yet on special moves.
Charmander evolves into Charmeleon which evolves into Charizard. And, if Pokémon Go keeps up it's Shiny tradition for May, that means Black Chariz...
