A leaked internal email from Apple last week revealed that it had over 40 million paid Apple Music subscribers — up by 2 million from 38 million just 2 months. This has led to analyst Ben Schachter of Macquarie Capital estimate that Apple Music will post an average annual growth of 40 percent over the next three years.
