Apple has been hit with a $9 million fine by the Federal Court in Australia over the Error 53 bug. The Australian Consumer and Competition Commission (ACCC) had started an investigation into Apple after the Error 53 bug last year ended up bricking hundreds of thousands of iPhones out there repaired by a third-party shop.
