Over 75 Percent of Super Mario Run’s $60 Million Revenue Came from iOS

Nintendo had released Super Mario Run amidst a lot of fanfare in late 2016, with Apple highlighting the release of the game on the App Store across all banners. No wonder then that the game raced to over 40 million downloads on the App Store in just 4 days. While the game is free to download and play, users are required to shell in $9.99 to unlock the full version of the game. Now, as per Sensor Tower, Super Mario Run has generated over $60 million in revenue since its release in September 2016.
