AT&T Customers Not Happy With Their Cell Service

Sick and tired of dropped calls on your iPhone? You're not alone.According to AppleInsider, a recent survey conducted by ChangeWave Research showed that there's a good deal of AT&T customers out there that feel your pain. The AT&T customers polled by ChangeWave reported that 4.5% of all calls made over a 90 day period were dropped. Comparatively, Verizon only dropped 1.5% of all smartphone calls made during the same period.ChangeWave didn't bother mincing words in summing up the survey:AT&T was clearly the worst in the March survey, tacking on yet another increase over the latest ChangeWave research survey... Furthermore, a closer look at the trends show an increasing number of dropped calls among AT&T customers surveyed, and a steadily decreasing number of dropped calls for Verizon customers.Looking back to a similar survey conducted in 2008, it seems that the gap in between the two companies in the area of dropped calls is growing. Two years ago, AT&T users polled reported that only 3.6% of their calls had been dropped by the carrier. During the same period, Verizon fumbled 2.7%.With AT&T making improvements to their network, and rumors of a CDMA iPhone floating about the interwebs, it'll be interesting to see what the facts and figures point to two years from now.
