Apple reports record sales, profits for third quarter
      
         

 For the three months ended on June 25, 2011, Apple recorded sales of $28.57 billion and net profit of $7.31 billion. The numbers were fueled by record iPhone and iPad sales and continued growth of the company's Mac business.
