Opinion: Why Steve Jobs's death feels so sad
      
         

 On Twitter, in my email, and in instant messages, my friends keep telling me that they're surprised at how sad Steve Jobs's death makes them feel. I can't speak for them, but I think I have a handle on why I find the news so depressing.
