Several weeks after releasing the iPhone 5, Apple is at last shipping its 30-pin-to-Lighting adapters. You know what that’s not as fast as?


The Patent, Used as a Sword (New York Times)


An interesting tidbit in a lengthy Times story about patents: “Last year, for the first time, spending by Apple and Google on patent lawsuits and unusually big-dollar patent purchases exceeded spending on research and development of new products, according to public filings.” What if they were researching creating new patents, eh? Eh? Did you think of that, smart guy?


Got an unlocked iPhone 5? T-Mobile has your nano-SIM card (Ars Technica)


T-Mobile is apparently selling SIMs that are compatible with unlocked iPhone 5 units. You know, if you want to use as much data as you like very very slowly.
