Apple Tries Its Hand at Discounts, RefurbsThis Friday marks the unofficial kickoff of the holiday season, as many stores open early to offer some of the best deals of the season, and this year, Apple is getting in on the fun. Discounts are unusual for Apple, but it teased the Black Friday deals that only will be available Nov. 23, both online and in its retail stores. It did not say which products specifically would be discounted, or by how much.
