Macworld Pundit Showdown XIX

Since the last time we asked tough questions of the Mac universe's brightest minds, Apple has released a slew of new products and reshuffled its executive lineup. Both topics get covered quite extensively in the latest Macworld Pundit Showdown.

A top-drawer panel of editorial director Jason Snell, senior editors Dan Moren and Roman Loyola, and TidBits senior editor Jeff Carlson face down a cavalcade of questions about iPhones, iPads, iTunes, and other issues that don't even start with "i." The losing panelists leave the room in shame; the winning panelist leaves in slightly less shame.

Show Notes

As always, this particular installment of the Macworld Podcast draws its inspiration from the format of the excellent BBC Radio program Fighting Talk, which you can grab from iTunes, if you are so inspired.

We discuss all manner of Apple and technology current events in this podcast, including the departures of Scott Forstall and John Browett from Apple's executive team and the controversy over iOS 6's Maps. Just to be on the safe side, you may want to familiarize yourself with every news story involving Apple that's happened since August before listening to the podcast. That's all right--we'll wait until you're done.
