Apple TV Update is a stealth Upgrade With Only Internal Updates
Based on the FCC report yesterday, we hoped a new version of the Apple TV (third generation) would be coming out soon. Nope. According to statements from Apple to TNW, it’s just an internal component update which triggered automatic requirements for review by the FCC.
