The case of the missing M7: Where is it in Apple’s iPhone 5s and who makes it? (Solved: NXP)
      

Apple is touting its new A7 chip and M7 co-processor in the iPhone 5s but where the heck is the M7? A teardown didn't find the chip, indicating it may be a different company's digital signal processor.
