BlackBerry gets $4.7 Billion buyout offer from Fairfax Financial Consortium
BlackBerry has just announced that it has agreed to a letter of intent to be acquired by a consortium led by Fairfax Financial for $4.7 billion or $9 per share.
Fairfax Financial is also the largest stakeholder in the company, and owns 10% of BlackBerry shares.
