Twitter may be working on stand-alone direct messaging app
According to multiple sources for AllThingsD, Twitter plans to overhaul its direct messaging service, making it less an afterthought and more of a prominent feature for its users. Direct messaging may become so important that it will even get its own stand-alone app.
