I'm trying to figure out a way to fool the Mac into reporting a newer version of OS X (10.4.1 at minimum) so I can fool the iTunes installer to install the latest, or at least a newer version of iTunes, onto a 10.3 machine. Is this possible? Even if I spoof the version number, is there anything so different that would make it not work?
