iPad apps include remastered audio tracks, interviews, rare photographs, album artwork and videos (rehearsal footage and documentaries).</p> <!--break--> <p>An interesting part of these apps is how they're cheaper than the remastered albums that are already available through Apple's iTunes music store, setting fans back by $7.99 each. Artists like McCartney are exploring the digital realm of mobile devices to provide advanced experiences beyond listening and enjoying music. Interactive media, coupled with exclusive content really makes these offerings worth purchasing.</p> <p>It also makes sense for the music industry to tap into the app ecosystem, especially since a large proportion of sales through stores are apps and games.
