Apple's HealthKit program is now being tested at two US university hospitals

The trials are meant to improve the accuracy and speed at which HealthKit records data.</p> <!--break--> <p>Both Stanford University Hospital and Duke University are running these trials, each targeting different patient groups, according to Reuters:</p>
<p>Stanford University Hospital doctors said they are working with Apple to let physicians track blood sugar levels for children with diabetes. Duke University is developing a pilot to track blood pressure, weight and other measurements for patients with cancer or heart disease.</p>
<p>Medical device manufacturers are also talking to Apple, along with hospitals and the Food and Drug Administration, about HealthKit integration.</p> <p>Are you glad to see that hospitals are beginning to work with HealthKit?
