Apple's iPhone 6-laden Q4 and 2014 year-end earnings due on October 20

The statements will cover the months of July, August, and September (known in Apple corporate parlance as "Q4"), as well as the year-end statement for the 2014 fiscal year. As the <a href="http://www.imore.com/iphone-6" title="iPhone 6: Everything you need to know">iPhone 6[/url] and <a href="http://www.imore.com/iphone-6-plus" title="The latest news, reviews, and tips for iPhone 6 Plus users">iPhone 6 Plus[/url] launched on the 19th of September, the first 12 days of sales (up to today) will be included in Apple's results — with 10 million iPhones 6 sold in the first 3 of those days, there are sure to be some big numbers following a bunch of dollar signs in Apple's results.</p> <!--break--> <p>Here's what Apple's guidance was for this quarter:</p> <ul><li>Revenue: $37 billion to $40 billion</li> <li>Gross Margin: 37% to 38%</li> <li>Operating Expenses: $4.75 billion to $4.85 billion</li> </ul><p>Apple under CEO Tim Cook has pivoted towards more realistic guidance as compared to the conservative guidance the company used to offer that led to actual results consistently smashing expectations.
