Apple brings Russian store offline amid wild currency swings

The decision is in response to recent swings in the valuation of Russia's currency — the latest of which has seen the ruble lose as much as 19 percent just today.</p> <!--break--> <p>According to a report by Bloomberg:</p>
<p>"Our online store in Russia is currently unavailable while we review pricing," Alan Hely, a spokesman for the Cupertino, California-based company, said today in an e-mailed statement. "We apologize to customers for any inconvenience."</p>
