YouTube offering more features for gameplay streaming content creators, the leading streaming company Twitch has some plans to fire back. As part of its first annual TwitchCon event, it revealed that it will start supporting video uploads sometime in 2016, while also killing its Flash support on the web in favor of HTML 5.</p> <!--break--> <p><a href='

?itok=epGbieYo' />[/url]</p> <p>The video upload feature is perhaps the biggest news for Twitch content creators, as they will be able to make videos without offering a livestream first and then upload them to the service, which is something YouTube creators have had since its service started. Twitch says it will also ditch Flash support sometime during the second quarter of 2016, along with adding playlists features as well.</p> <p>Twitch also said it will launch dedicated apps for Sony's PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita platforms. Finally, it offered up some statistics, including the fact that Twitch now has 1.7 million broadcasters streaming game videos and that the service had a total of over 100 million monthly active users.</p> <p>Source:
