New York attorney general puts pressure on Apple, Google and others to prevent smartphone thefts
Smartphones are increasingly becoming common targets for theft, which has a lot of government reps worried. To tackle the thefts, New York attorney general, Eric Schneiderman, has written to Apple, Google, Microsoft and Samsung, enquiring about the technology they’re building to help make stolen phones useless.
