iWork for iCloud beta now available to the public

Apple on Friday brought iWork for iCloud to the masses. The service, first announced at the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June, had been available in a limited beta for registered developers, but is now open to anyone with an Apple ID and an iCloud account.

Simply point your browser to iCloud.com, and log in with your Apple ID. You’ll see a trio of new icons—Pages, Numbers, and Keynote—each badged with a Beta label. The Web apps can connect with any documents you’ve saved in iCloud from the iOS or Mac versions of the suite.

For more detailed information about the offering, check out our just-published hands-on with iCloud for the Web.
