Apple is the top handset maker in the US, Android the leading platform
The latest ComScore report shows that Apple is the leading handset manufacturer in the US, beating out competitors like Samsung, Motorola, LG and HTC. iOS as a platform, though, is still second to Android, but, in the last three quarters, it gained some ground on its competition.
