How Optimized Storage in macOS Sierra will affect your iCloud limit

Optimized Storage on macOS Sierra will help keep your Mac cleaned up, but how much will it count against your iCloud storage limit?

One of macOS Sierra's great new features is Optimized Storage, which includes four tools for, well, optimizing your Mac's storage. You can reduce clutter by deleting older documents stored on your Mac, save space by automatically removing iTunes movies and TV shows you've already watched and erasing items that have been in the trash for more than 30 days, and free up emergency space when you have a full drive by storing files and photos in iCloud.
