Oh, good. In case you aren’t sick of hearing about The Interview, a dumb movie in which Seth Rogen and James Franco play idiots who assassinate North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un, it just became available on iTunes (https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/the-interview/id948499637). You can rent it for $6 or buy it for $15 in HD or SD.

The Interview was supposed to launch in movie theaters on Christmas Day. But then Sony was hacked (http://www.pcworld.com/article/2862376/what-the-sony-hack-can-teach-us-about-protecting-our-email.html), and the alleged hackers threatened violence against movie theaters (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oo2-0xvCZ8) that would show it, so the movie theaters backed down, and then Sony said it wouldn’t even release the movie. That’s when Obama sighed mightily and said that was a mistake (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oo2-0xvCZ8), and then Sony changed its mind and did release the movie after all, to a few movie theaters (http://www.pcworld.com/article/2863112/yes-virginia-the-interview-will-be-shown-on-christmas-day-after-all.html) as well as YouTube, Google Play, and Xbox Video (http://www.pcworld.com/article/2863652/google-microsoft-sony-make-the-interview-available-online.html). (But you can’t watch it on the PlayStation Network (http://kotaku.com/sonys-the-interview-can-now-be-seen-on-xbox-but-not-on-1674936343) for some reason, nor on Sony’s own Crackle (http://www.pcworld.com/article/2862027/sony-says-the-interview-will-still-be-released-but-not-necessarily-on-crackle.html), but it might be coming soon if Sony can get its act together.)

To read this article in full or to leave a comment, please click here[/url]
