Title: Acer Travelmate 7740G
Post by: lukasscheunert on January 11, 2011, 09:44:35 am
Hey Guys,

first thing - sorry for my bad English i come from Germany.

I need help to configure OS X for my Hardware.
I installed a Snow Leopard Version of OS X with the version 10.6.2 on my external Hard Drive with the IBoot CD from tonymacx86. The install works fine, but after boot OS X some devices of my Acer are not recognized, like the WLAN Adapter, the Processor the battery and the graphic-card and my chipset. I tried to update to 10.6.5 with the combo update and multi beast, but after install the update OS X forces me to reboot and i can't boot OS X anymore.

Now theres for me the question where do i get the Kexts for my devices? I looked up at www.kexts.com and i didn't find anything that matches to my devices or a DTSD.aml for my Chipset.

I hope someone of you can help me!
