New iMacs are coming from inside the country! Elsewhere, Apple lets you buy iPhone 5s until your heart is content, and Ashton Kutcher’s Steve Jobs impression is a little eerie. The remainders for Tuesday, December 4, 2012 are just dancing in the dark.
Some new iMacs marked as being ‘Assembled in USA’ (AppleInsider)
It appears that some recent iMac models bear a tiny note that they were “Assembled in USA.” AppleInsider points out that in order to earn the label, the device must in fact be more than just put together in a “screwdriver” operation. I think we’ve finally cracked what Bob Mansfield’s Technologies group is doing.
