Apple releases OS X bash update 1.0 to patch ‘Shellshock’ security flaw

Last week, it was reported that a security flaw codenamed “Shellshock” was discovered in the OS X bash command shell on Mac. Apple soon confirmed that the vast majority of users are unaffected by the vulnerability and promised to issue a software update soon, which has just arrived in the form of OS X bash update 1.0 for Mac.
