B of A boosts Apple Pay with 1.1 million cards enrolled

It’s still too early to tell how successful Apple Pay is or will be, but Bank of America’s customers are rushing to test the waters. Some 800,000 B of A customers added 1.1 million cards to Apple Pay (http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20150115005104/en/Bank-America-Reports-Fourth-quarter-2014-Net-Income) between October 20 and the end of 2014.</p><p>
The number isn’t mindblowing, but it’s pretty respectable, considering that Bank of America has about 16.5 million mobile banking customers altogether.
